There are plenty of excellent sushi, ramen and other national food restaurants in Tokyo. For sure they must be visited to feel Japanese authentic cuisine, to feel their culture and traditions. But also Tokyo full of interesting and unusual places to eat. That what I am hunting for. I found good options! And let me introduce them.
Its a theme restaurants "Alice in Wonderland". Seems like Japanese really like the story "Alice in Wonderland". There are several theme restaurants in the city. You can choose branch by location. Visit which one is closer to your hotel or current location in Tokyo.
For those who are staying near Ginza shopping district "Alice In Labyrinth" is a very good option for lunch or dinner. Its a small restaurant locates in ordinary office building on the main Ginza street, look for the Taiyo building. If you are having trouble finding it look for the large Swarovski crystal jewellery store. It will be across the street from Swarovski. When you will go inside of it you will see suddenly White Rabbit with pink eyes will ran close by you... and even if you don't see him just use elevator to go on 5th floor to waiting area which is like a giant book with original illustrations from "Alice In Wonderland". Interesting what does Levis Caroll will say if he sees his book in this size?
Everything are wonderful in this restaurant: interior, menus, dishes, waiters.. Advise: make a reservation to avoid waiting line.
Price around 50$ for two

I visited this place in December 2014. The place is nice, but I expect more. It is really very small and food are nothing special. No, I wanted to say that the taste of food is nothing special, just ordinary. But presentation of it is very interesting.
